In the heart of the Ela Park, this self-catering hut is suitable for guests who enjoy the rough charm of a classical mountain refuge.
Gently renovated in the summer of 2008, it offers simple accommodation in a fabulous location at 2,252 meters above sea level. It is ideal for all hikers, who want to explore the mountainous landscape of Piz Ela, Tinzenhorn and Piz Mitgel on foot. The hut offers 26 beds in the main hut; the old Ela Hut (approx. 5 minutes walk), popular with groups, offers 8 beds. It is reached on foot from the Oberhalbstein and Albula Valleys in 3 1/2 to 6 hours.
