Description
From the Staderas car park between Flims and Laax you follow forest roads through Flims Forest offering views of the Sardona Tectonic Arena UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site with the Tschingelhörner and Flimserstein, past picturesque Lake Cauma to the «Il Spir» (the swift) observation platform in Conn. Here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Rhine Gorge, the Swiss Grand Canyon.
At the nearby Restaurant Conn riders can indulge in some of the region's specialities. From Conn, continue through Flims Forest as far as Flims Waldhaus. Along the way you can stop at the double fountain. In Flims Unterwaldhaus the route takes you through an area featuring the work of Flims architect Rudolf Olgiati. You return to the starting point in Staderas on the cycle path.
