Fischingen Monastery is therefore the perfect venue for every event. At the same time it is a tourist place for excursionists and is popular with guests who spend their holidays in the monastery. Whenever possible, our creative monastery chefs enthusiastically use ingredients from pine cone land. We serve water from our own monastery spring with our meals, the 0 km refreshment could not be more sustainable. The tavern is at your disposal for an informal stay. Among other things, we have a selection of chilled PILGRIM monastery beers ready for you there.

Swiss Historic Hotel

The imposing Fischingen Monastery has prevailed over the rolling hills and vales of pine cones since 1138. The impressive monastery complex is something quite unique. The historical monument offers a whole host of exciting places to meet, including Switzerlandʼs first monastery brewery; romantic gardens; a baroque concert hall and the monasteryʼs very own carpentry shop. The former monk quarters have been transformed into comfortable and stylish rooms with parquet floors and bathrooms. Public tours of the monastery also take place on a regular basis.
