"1000 Red Poppies" Exhibition

This project was born almost by chance, like a sudden idea that emerged during a difficult period of work, at a time when the artist felt the need to rediscover herself. A spontaneous need to create, to make something tangible, something of her own, arose. Something that would break the usual routine and bring a breath of fresh air into her daily life, something that would stimulate her and also include those around her.

So the decision was made to create 1,000 red poppies, one after the other, allowing each flower to blossom with its own rhythm, its imperfections, and its uniqueness... which, ultimately, is who we are.

Thus, what initially began as a natural impulse to create something of her own, something that would express her personality and her creativity, became a profound journey, imbued with care, love, dedication, and commitment. 1,000 repeated gestures, 1,000 moments of silence and meditation, 1,000 small testimonies of a change the artist felt the need to experience.

These poppies tell a story, and the hope is that they can also help those who observe them experience the unique and personal moment they carry with them, even if only for a second. A story that had not been planned, but which the artist feels is his and that he wants to share.
