Intro

An icon and legend of cinema, Audrey Hepburn remains one of the most beloved figures of her time.

Audrey Hepburn’s style is defined by a simple, refined, and natural elegance. But beyond the clothes she wore, it was her singular aura that made her inimitable. She had impeccable taste and a personal vision of fashion, which she elevated with signature elements: sunglasses, a short haircut, cigarette trousers, ballet flats, and of course the iconic little black dress.

An icon and legend of cinema, Audrey Hepburn remains one of the most beloved figures of her time. For years, her look inspired women from all walks of life and across generations.

A muse to great designers, she embodied a certain idea of “chic”, inspiring Valentino and Givenchy, and gracing the covers of the most prestigious magazines.

With her dancer’s slender figure, playful smile, and doe eyes, she broke away from the

voluptuous standards of her era, asserting a new kind of femininity–delicate and timeless.

It is through black-and-white photographs that the incomparable elegance of this icon is revealed at the Musée Bolle.
