Intro

Francis Poulenc

L'opéra de Francis Poulenc est l'un des piliers du répertoire lyrique français du XXe siècle. Cet opéra raconte l'histoire d'une congrégation religieuse prise dans la tourmente de la Révolution Française. À travers une évocation de la vie de ces femmes en communauté, l'œuvre dialogue avec nous, croyants ou non-croyants, et interroge nos peurs et notre besoin de rédemption face à une réalité qui nous dépasse. Un grand et beau défi à relever pour nos étudiant-e-s qui incarneront les rôles solistes, placé-e-s sous la direction musicale de notre professeur Emmanuel Olivier dans une mise en scène inspirée de Yves Coudray.
