Intro
On the Fête de la Musique, the Day of Music, music in all its diversity will also be made audible and experienced and celebrated in Thun.
The invited bands surprise the audience with their own repertoire, which they present on the open-air stage. The aim of the various concert sections is to bring the diversity, motivation and joy of playing of the bands closer to the numerous listeners, who present themselves to a wider public. This makes the event a special experience in the center of Thun. We want to motivate people to actively experience music, sing along and perhaps even make music themselves later on.
The Fête de la Musique Thun association provides bands from different musical genres with a stage and professional equipment. The result is once again a colorful, eclectic and varied program with (up-and-coming) bands from the Thun region, including jazz, Latin and funk, rock and pop as well as a rich big band sound.
