Dream route Zernez - Silvaplana
Intro
Engadine means the “garden of the Inn”. This garden can be experienced in all its glory on the drive that shadows the River Inn from Zernez to Silvaplana.
Description
Rising up to 1700 m, the drive through the wide Alpine valley is a colourful delight, taking in the blue river, green forests and brightly painted villages like Zuoz, Madulain and Pontresina. Private jets can be spotted landing at the airport in Samedan. It’s well worth taking the funicular from Punt Muragl to Muottas Muragl for stunning views, and walking around the lake in St. Moritz. When the Maloja wind blows steadily in the early afternoon, kite surfers flit across Lake Silvaplana like butterflies.
