This route promises lovely panoramic views entailing little altitude difference and minimal effort. Starting at 1915 m a. s. l., the high-level trail leads from Heidbüel to Tgantieni. You will enjoy a magnificent view of the Heid lake and the valley.
Description
This route in the Lenzerheide holiday region leads along the high-level trail from Heidbüel to Tgantieni. The Heidbüel panoramic cable car takes you comfortably from Churwalden to the starting point at 1915 m a. s. l. From there, the path is more or less level as you head towards Tgantieni. First the trail descends gently to Alp Stätz, where the local cows graze during the alpine summer.
Above Alp Lavoz and in the direction of Alp Nova, the easy high-level trail offers plenty of variety - and always an unobstructed view of the Heid lake and the entire valley. It's worth stopping once in a while to look back in the direction of Chur. The view of the opposite side of the Rothorn is also superb. With clear visibility, you can observe the hustle and bustle at the Bike Kingdom Park. Now and again, pleasant spots invite you to take a break.
Once you have reached Tgantieni, you can have a meal or refreshments in one of the mountain restaurants before taking the chairlift back to the village of Lenzerheide. If you want to extend the hike or make it more challenging, you can of course skip one or both of the suggested rides.
