Description
How about a breathtaking sledge run? The piste from Lauchernalp (1,968 meters above sea level) lasts for 6 kilometres and takes you to Wiler. You’ll need to be careful, though, as this piste is also used by skiers. Lauchernalp is known to be a particularly snowy place with a vista composed of 40 peaks including several rising over 4,000m.
You’ll make your way down into a magical valley populated by traditional villages that continue in their local customs and legends, such as that of the masked "Tschäggätta", which haunt the area during the carnival. You’ll forge some unforgettable memories as you glide through these enchanting places that are marked with a rich history.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
