Wildlife spotting tour in the Val d’Err
Overview
Intro
Together with hiking guide and gamekeeper Sep Antona Bergamin, you’ll set off early in the morning for the idyllic Val d’Err near Savognin. Untouched nature, unique flora and fauna and various wild animals are waiting to be discovered.
Early in the morning, a minibus will take you from the Savognin mountain railway valley station to the wild and romantic Val d’Err in Parc Ela – Switzerland’s largest nature park. You’ll then continue on foot up and into the valley. Red deer and roe deer are particularly common here, and if you go up high then with a bit of luck you may even see ibex. Around 450 ibex and 2,000 chamois live in the summit regions.
