Guided snowshoe hike across alpine pastures to the 1,998 m.a.s.l. high Gulmen, through rugged terrain into the Frümseltal or above on the Hinterfallenkopf tour. Hike through the snowy Toggenburg and enjoy wonderful views. **Tour Wildhuser Gulme - Meeting point Wildhaus with Wanderma.ch** * Saturday, 07 February 2026 with Wanderma.ch At the Gamplüt mountain station at 1,352 m.a.s.l., you put on your snowshoes and start towards Alp Fros. At the foot of the impressive Schofberg wall, you reach the quiet Teseltal. Now it gets steeper. The ascent initially takes you through a mountain forest. From the Gulmen hut, you follow your tracks across snow-covered alpine pastures and the long mountain ridge upwards towards Gulmen at 1,998 m.a.s.l. The view over the Rhine Valley towards Austria, Liechtenstein, and the Toggenburg is fantastic. **Tour Frümseltal - Meeting point Alt St. Johann** * Sunday, 01 February 2026 with Wanderma.ch * Sunday, 15 March 2026 with Chatzegrabe-Tours On the Alp Sellamatt, located at 1,390 m.a.s.l., where the tour begins, you quickly leave the ski slopes behind. Across the high plateau below the Churfirsten, you hike through the quiet, rugged terrain. The ascent into the Frümseltal between Brisi and Frümsel becomes steeper and more alpine. Upon reaching the highest point at 2,035 m.a.s.l., you are rewarded with an impressive view of Lake Walen, the vertical rock faces of the Churfirsten, and the surrounding mountain landscape of the Toggenburg holiday region and the Glarus Alps. **Tour Hinterfallenkopf - Meeting point Nesslau with chatzegrabe-tours.ch** * Saturday, 21 February 2026 In a dreamlike hilly landscape between Luterental and Neckertal, you traverse mysterious forests, Pfingstböden, Ellbogen, Chöpfe, Chlosteralpen, and even a forest with gnarled, 600-year-old mountain maples. At the highest point, the Hinterfallenkopf, you enjoy the wonderful panoramic view and the sight of the Säntis with its impressive, flawless rock face. In Ennetbühl, the post bus brings you back to the starting point Nesslau.
