Description

The Alpinhotel is located in the middle of the famous "Jungfrau" ski region. A sunny terrace with breathtaking view over the mountains await you. The Gondola station is located right next door. Our hospitality guarantees great skiing, hiking or adventure holidays, seminars and events. Enjoy our typical swiss kitchen in our Restaurant. Use the ski slopes and sledge slope that start directly in front of our house. Accessible only with the cable car (gondola). The Alpinhotel Bort is situated next to the middle station of the gondola Grindelwald-First. Please note the time-table. In summer you can get a free permission to drive up by car on a narrow mountain road. We look forward to welcoming you!

Getting there

Arrival from Grindelwald to the hotel by gondola: The Alpinhotel Bort is located at the 1st middle station of the Grindelwald-First gondola lift. The gondola runs throughout the day according to the schedule. Long-term parking is available at the Pfingsteggbahn car park and free parking is available at the glacier gorge. Ski bus no. 22 runs from both parking spaces directly to the Grindelwald-First gondola lift. Local bus timetable summer. We recommend that you unload your luggage at the Firstbahn in advance. Arrival from Grindelwald to the hotel by car Attention: Arrival by car is only possible in summer! The road is steep and narrow, a heavily used hiking trail, and a scooter bike route. If you arrive between 12:00 p. m. and 6:00 p. m., there is a lot of oncoming traffic on the single-lane road. The overnight confirmation is considered a permit to drive on the street.
