Intro

Innovative capsule hotel with 144 capsules in the Prime Center at Zurich Airport. Two bedrooms are reserved for women only. In addition, there are six accessible and one wheelchair-accessible capsules. Washrooms are segregated by gender and each have separate shower stalls. The hotel also boasts a spa with hot pots and a coffee lounge. The airport is a short walk away.

Description

With impressive photographs by nature photographer Fabio Zingg, the Capsule Hotel Alpine Garden brings the Swiss mountains directly to Zurich Airport. The private “Capsule” sleeping area might be very compact, but thanks to its ingenious design does not feel cramped. The rooms, which cover an area of 2 sq. meters, feature a Swiss quality mattress, self-contained ventilation, a dimmable light, and USB and power outlets, as well as a shelf, a table, a mirror, and enough storage space for luggage.

Awaiting guests at the Capsule Hotel Alpine Garden are not only a pleasant and cozy atmosphere, but also various spaces to relax and linger, a fitness and wellness area, and a small spa – directly at the airport.

The futuristic capsules were specially designed and are made in Switzerland. They offer the greatest possible comfort in a small space and each has its own fresh air supply. The ecological footprint is 80% less than a conventional hotel. The hotel’s Swiss Souvenir Shop stocks products from small regional producers. There are daily story times with product samples to try. The images of nature photographer Fabio Zingg artfully make Switzerland the centre of attention.
