SHAKTYA – Invoking the Goddess
Overview
Intro
A vibrant Bharatanatyam journey through love, womanhood and the transformative power of the Divine Feminine.
Acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer Pritam Das (student of the renowned Guru Rama Vaidyanathan) presents Shaktya, a vibrant celebration of the many dimensions of the feminine.
Across four contrasting worlds, the journey begins with an invocation to the Divine Mother, it unfolds through love, womanhood and culminates in the transformative power of Shakti (feminine power).
Drawing on the expressive richness of Bharatanatyam, Pritam Das combines dynamic movement, intricate rhythm and powerful storytelling to explore the feminine energy that encompasses the universe in all its myriad forms.
An evening of rhythm, emotion and power!
