Intro
The circular tour around Zürich-Kloten airport is a popular excursion, not least because of the specially created vantage points around the airport areal. This easy route takes you through a wonderful natural world, in places alongside the River Glatt.

Description
Unspoilt nature and thundering «big birds» guaranteed! The route starts at the airport. In Kloten you can already follow the aicraft arriving and departing from the nearby airport runways. The entire route has vantage points where you can experience the impressive action at close quarters.
You continue on the easy route, passing extensive meadows, to the banks of the River Glatt. Take a breather enjoying superb views of the river and the shady trees along the route. You soon reach Rümlang, where the route runs alongside the river before leading through colourful fields and meadows.
Oberglatt, in particular offers breathtaking views over fields and farmland, until you reach Kloten again. There are beautiful rest spots along the whole route and of course the vantage platforms are ideal spots to take a break and marvel at the action. A totally fascinating and varied tour.
