Schlittelweg Sarn
Overview
Intro
Go past the alm huts, and views of Domleschg and the mighty Piz Beverin will unfold before you. Once you have raced down from Dultschinas to Lescha, you’ll want nothing more than to get up there once more. And then zoom back down again!
Description
The well-laid toboggan run starts just a few metres up from the top chairlift station. On the descent, which is slow at first, there are sweeping views from the gentle Heinzenberg across to Piz Beverin (2,998 m a.s.l), one of the most striking mountains in the Mittelbünden region, and one of the most popular for its panoramic views. You can see Feldis im Domleschg on the other side of the valley.
You’ll need to give the lower section of the trail your full concentration: the descent is quicker here. It leads through snowy woods and past cosy alm huts. After two sharp bends, you reach your destination: the chairlift valley station.
It’s worth lingering a while on the large sun terrace of the Berghaus Dultschinas and fortifying yourself for your next toboggan run. The valley chairlift station in Lescha is easy to reach by Postbus.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
