Description
Magnificent views of the lake and the mountains – take it all in as you snowshoe around Klewenalp. This easy trail starts at the Klewenalp mountain station and initially leads downhill to Wangiboden and the valley station of the Klewenstock chair lift, the tour's lowest point.
The trail now leads up to the Brämegg viewpoint, where spectacular 360-degrees views of the surrounding mountains of Central Switzerland and deep blue Lake Lucerne await you. This spot is ideal for a breather before you tackle the last climb to the Naturfreundehaus (Friends of Nature House) Röthen.
The next part, from Röthen onward, runs on the winter hiking trail, first gently uphill and then almost level. Caution: Be prepared for oncoming sledgers and skiers. Passing the Klewen Chapel, your snowshoe tour ends back at the Klewenalp mountain station.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
