Valcaus
Overview
Intro
In late May and early June, the Seewis meadows from about 1,200 m above sea level and upwards are covered in white daffodils. This route takes you past these beautiful fields of daffodils. In addition, the tour also gives you a splendid panoramic view of the Vorderprättigau region.
Description
This varied tour starts in Seewis village (those who feel like it can already get on their bikes at Seewis station and cycle into the village). From Seewis the tour follows the tarred road to Fadära and through Pilldetta to Valcaus. At the Maiensäss Valcaus alpine hut it is worth taking a break and some refreshments while appreciating the magnificent panoramic views of the near Prättigau region. This stretch runs via Guora and then along a technically easy downhill back to Seewis.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
