It offers a welcoming habitat for wild bees, butterflies, and other insects, with nesting opportunities and abundant sources of food. In addition to the insect hotel, the animals find shelter in piles of branches, dry-stone walls, and other natural hideaways. The idea behind the insect hotel came from a desire to create a sustainable habitat that promotes insect diversity while supporting ecological balance. The surrounding area is home to around 250 plant species, providing a rich source of nourishment all year round.
