Cardada Bike Locarno, Ticino
An adventurous circular trail around Cardada and Val Resa. Starting and ending in Locarno, this trail offers unforgettable views over Lake Maggiore and the surrounding region. If you don’t fancy tackling the ascent yourself, you can take the funicular railway and cable car from Ascona via Orsellina up to Cardada.
Hörnli trail with BBQ Arosa, Graubünden
The Hörnli Trail in Arosa is a must for all flow trail enthusiasts. Take the Hörnli Express up the mountainside, then enjoy one of the best flow trails around. The downhill sections require plenty of leg power too. Enjoy the twists and turns of this trail in a beautiful evening atmosphere before ending the day with a barbecue.
Valais Bike Leukerbad, Valais
Three days of enduro fun with extensive downhill sections (cable cars can be used for the ascents). Discover the best single trails in Upper Valais on the new regional Valais Bike route. This three-day adventure, divided into several stages, is packed with thrills and spills. Experience the panorama trail from the Rinderhütte to Untere Feselalp, the descent to Kalpetran and the spectacular panorama at the Gibidumsee.
Mythen region–Hoch-Ybrig mountain bike track tour Einsiedeln, Schwyz
This route boasts some truly spectacular scenery, including the mighty Mythen mountains, the Druesberg, the Roggenstock, and other snow-capped Alpine peaks, as well as unrestricted views towards Zurich and Central Switzerland. A flowing single-trail adventure for beginners and hobby mountain bikers.
Biketicket 2 RIDE (red) Lenzerheide, Graubünden
This trail is bound to appeal to single trail fans, with a total ascent of just under 400m, five lift rides and more than 2,800m of downhill exhilaration. As well as extensive single trail sections, it also provides stunning views over the Heidsee, the Albula Valley and the Domleschg – this is a trail you won’t forget in a hurry!
Monte Tamaro Bike Rivera, Ticino
This circular trail is a belter! Starting from the Alpe Foppa (also accessible by train), the trail climbs steeply up to the Capanna Tamaro, with rewarding views over the valley floor, Lake Lugano and Lake Maggiore. The long downhill section that follows is technically challenging, passing through forests and across Alps before reaching the valley with the Vedeggio river running through it.
Bietschhorn Bike Lauchernalp, Valais
This varied trail from the Lauchernalp to Wiler via several Lötschental Alps offers spectacular views of the mighty Bietschhorn. Along the way, you’ll pass picturesque chapels with panoramic views, cosy restaurants and traditional Valais hamlets.
Rinerhorn/Sertig Davos, Graubünden
This exciting trail takes in the Rinerhorn and the famous Sertig Valley with its impressive waterfall. The trail is known for its flowing downhill sections, and the Rinerhorn cable car can be used for the ascent.
