When 20-year-old Emil Ebneter started his Appenzell liquor shop in 1902, he laid the foundation for today’s Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG. Take the tour to gain clues to the secret of Appenzeller Alpenbitter.
During this guided tour you will not only learn about the secrets of the herb chamber but also all about how they malke what is undoubtedly the most famous Appenzeller. The free tour lasts approx. 1½ hours and includes tasting. Public guided tours are held all year, every Wednesday at 10.00 hrs.
