After the magic of the alleys, you’ll be drawn to the deep-blue heart of the valley: Lake Poschiavo. The natural reservoir lies before you like a polished sapphire, framed by lush green mountain slopes. Countless painters and poets have succumbed to its spell. The gentle lapping of the waves becomes your rhythm. In Alp Grüm, accessible only by train or on foot, you’ll enjoy an exclusive grandstand view of the Palü Glacier and the Valposchiavo. Overwhelmed by the view, you won’t notice how time flies. Don’t miss the last train back down to the valley. In Brusio, a technical masterpiece awaits you: the circular viaduct of the Rhaetian Railway. In the Puschlav, the southern Grisonian Valposchiavo, you’ll be on familiar terms. You know each other’s names, habits and the shared fate that binds everyone to this rugged mountain landscape. In Tirano, it’s worth taking a stroll away from the station. Discover the Palazzo Salis and enjoy the Valtellina wine culture in a local wine bar before your journey comes to an end.
