Description

Castello del Sole Beach Resort & SPA is an oasis of natural luxury set within a private 140-hectare estate directly overlooking Lake Maggiore. Surrounded by a bird sanctuary, a botanical garden, orchards, vineyards and cultivated fields, it offers an experience of tranquillity and authenticity in the heart of Ticino, in line with the philosophy of The Living Circle group.

With over a century of hospitality tradition, the property combines Italian warmth with Swiss precision and features 41 junior suites and suites, as well as 38 double and single rooms, many with views of the park. All accommodations are equipped with modern comforts and air conditioning.

The culinary experience is based on the “from our farm to your table” principle, with products sourced directly from the estate, from Cantina alla Maggia and from Terreni alla Maggia. Locanda Barbarossa, led by chef Mattias Roock, is awarded one Michelin star and 18 GaultMillau points. Restaurant Tre Stagioni and Restaurant Al Parco complete the dining offering, together with the atmospheric Bar Bassa Selim and the snack bar on the private beach.

The Castello del Sole SPA & Beauty Centre, the largest in Ticino, offers a wide range of treatments, pools, fitness facilities and wellness paths. The offer is complemented by four outdoor tennis courts and two indoor courts.

Castello del Sole is easily accessible from the airports of Zurich, Milan Malpensa and Locarno Magadino.
