Niele Toroni always chooses the same method for all his works: as the title of the work tells us, the paint is applied using a paintbrush measuring 50 mm in width and applied at regular intervals of 30 cm. By extending the work on architectural supports, which change depending on each individual situation, this contemporary artist from Canton Ticino breaks through the limits of the canvas. The marks left by the paintbrush, in this case purple (a combination of red and blue, Ticino's colours), translates the essence of the pictorial act.
