"Tongue" sculpture Würth
The sculpture is 7.7 metres high and is in the form of a tongue. The original was based on the tongue of an ox. The 400-pound sculpture alludes to mankind’s association with animals and to the cycle of procreation, life and death.
The sculpture triggers an astonishment that establishes a link with our tamed animal existence that is repressed by our city-based lifestyle and our virtual worlds.
