Untitled, 2014 (Handicapped Cars)
Painting, drawing, photography or self-made zines… for Beni Bischof, there are no media boundaries that should go unexplored. His “Handicapped Cars” are photographic appropriations of images from colourful magazines of past decades, which he scans, adjusts and smooths. After his radical Photoshop interventions, what we see are no longer cars but streamlined, futuristic objects with a physical charisma of their very own.
