Intro
A cultural tour of Intragna will enable guests to immerse themselves in the fascinating history of this village, which is the gateway to the Centovalli area.
During an interesting cultural tour, various aspects of the village’s past, present and future are examined: areas covered range from history to traditions, culture and architecture, with explanations of local politics and geology. Starting from the pretty piazza, the tour includes the Church of San Gottardo, which houses a 19th century organ, and the Centovalli and Pedemonte Regional Museum, which deals with issues of emigration and the fate of the young chimney sweeps from the Centovalli area. There is also an opportunity to climb the highest church tower in Ticino at 65m. Finally, it is also possible to visit the small Bottega Cento Rustici, which sells various products typical of the region: polenta flour, wines, brandy and much more.
