Protected by the walls of the Château de Saint-Gingolph (1585-1588), the museum houses a collection of objects and documents relating to the barques of Lake Geneva - former cargo ships - their Latin sails and the life of the boatmen.

The Traditional Museum and the Lake Geneva boats at the Château de St. Gingolph invite you to explore the thousands of existing traditions surrounding the lake.
