Intro

Die vielfältigen Aufgaben der Dorfbäche aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln entdecken. Mit vielen interaktiven Stationen für Gross und Klein.

Dorfbäche bieten einiges. Wir erholen uns an ihnen. Sie liefern Strom. Bei Hochwasser sind sie auch furchteinflössend. Sind die Bäche nicht zu stark verbaut, wohnen darin und daran zahlreiche Wildtiere und -pflanzen. In der Ausstellung erfahren die Besuchenden aus Sicht von Mensch, Fisch, Kleintier, Vogel oder Pflanze, wie sich die Dorfbäche im Laufe der Zeit verändert haben und welche Herausforderungen das mit sich bringt. Zudem erhält man Einblick in Projekte, die Glarner Dorfbäche wieder streckenweise naturnaher gestalten, also revitalisieren. An interaktiven Stationen können Gross und Klein dem Hochwasser lauschen, die Stromturbine drehen und dem Fisch dabei helfen, am Kraftwerk vorbeizukommen, den Alltag des Eisvogels mit dem Feldstecher vom Bänkli aus beobachten, einen Dorfbach begrünen und beleben, die Bachqualität bestimmen oder Wasserkleintiere mikroskopieren.
