Intro
The covered ice rink in Martigny was the first artificial ice rink in the Valais region. It was built in 1955, and has undergone a number of renovations since then.
The Forum ice rink is about a five-minute walk from Place Centrale and a 15-minute walk from Martigny train station. Every year, the ice rink holds several events throughout the season. People can come here to practise ice hockey and figure skating or simply to ice skate. It is now a sports centre as well as a place of relaxation for everyone.
