Höh Trail

Intro
A great combination of easy but still very scenic snow shoe tour is waiting for you. After a the hike to the viewpoint on the top of «Höh», snow shoe hikers will be rewarded with the most beautiful panorama of Kandersteg and the mountain range of the UNESCO World heritage site.
Description
From the central starting point at the train station, the snow shoe trail is signposted. After already 2 minutes, you reach the first ascent of the trail leading into the forest «Höh».
From the viewing point on top of the Höh, you will have a beautiful view onto the village of Kandersteg with its signature mountains, the Blüemlisalp, in the background. If you have packed some lunch, the cozy red benches at the view point will be the perfect spot to take a break.
The descent via "Risete" brings you through a beautiful scots pine forest and back to the village. Following a small path on your right will bring you back to the train station.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
