Das Zollmuseum liegt am Südufer des Luganersees gegenüber von Gandria und dem Monte Brè. Es ist erreichbar mit Schiff ab Lugano oder Gandria bis zur Haltestelle «Museo Doganale» oder «Cantine di Gandria». Empfehlenswert ist auch der Olivenweg zu Fuss von Lugano nach Gandria und von dort per Schiff auf die andere Seeseite nach Cantine di Gandria. Der Uferweg von Caprino her ist nach starkem Regen nicht begehbar.
