Andermatt is centrally nestled in the heart of Switzerland (Urschweiz). Excellent snow and wind conditions stir snowkiters’ hearts.
Whether on skis or snowboard, snowkiting can be learned relatively quickly. The sensation experienced after taking off with a snowkite and the subsequent descent in powder snow is unforgettable. To achieve a high snowkiting standard, a few supervised training days are recommended. The Snowkiting School "Excite Kiteboarding" is about 10 minutes on foot from Andermatt.
