Intro

Fashion museum housing 5,000 pieces from the 18th century to the present, including the archives of Yverdon-born designer Robert Piguet.

The MuMode is an association established in Yverdon-les-Bains since 1982. Its mission is to preserve, study and promote a collection of clothing and accessories from the 18th century to the present day. The MuMode has in its archives sketches and documents of the great Yverdon fashion designer Robert Piguet (1898-1953), founder of a haute couture house in Paris (1933-1951). These original drawings were made by Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy, Marc Bohan and Castillo, then young designers at Piguet.

The institution does not have a permanent exhibition space and offers events, temporary exhibitions and other one-off activities outside its walls.
