That’s exactly what Nancy and Tian had in mind when they decided to turn their wedding into a full weekend celebration in Switzerland! It was the perfect way for everyone to explore the country and spend quality time together—especially with loved ones they don’t often see.

Why Switzerland?
Switzerland wasn’t chosen by chance. Tian had lived and worked there for years, and many of his friends and family still call it home. With its breathtaking scenery, sparkling lakes, and peaceful atmosphere, Switzerland was simply the ideal spot for their big weekend.
Kicking Things Off: The Rehearsal Lunch
The festivities started with a relaxed rehearsal lunch. Since many guests had just flown in from China and were probably feeling a bit jet-lagged, a laid-back meal on a terrace with mountain views was just what everyone needed. To make things even sweeter, a special cake was served to celebrate all the guests with birthdays that month - a fun touch that everyone loved!
The Main Event: A Dreamy Swiss Wedding
On the wedding day, Nancy and Tian started their morning at a beautiful lakeside hotel with a cozy breakfast and some pampering. Then, in true Swiss style, they made a grand entrance to the venue by elegant boat. The ceremony itself was non-religious, followed by a traditional tea ceremony and a lively aperitif. Guests then enjoyed a delicious dinner—and of course, the party was unforgettable! When the night wound down, everyone was whisked back to the hotel.
Wrapping Up: Sunday Brunch with a View
The weekend ended on a high note with a generous Sunday brunch. Guests relaxed, enjoyed the stunning lake views, and savored their last moments together. Switzerland truly put on a show, leaving everyone with wonderful memories of a magical weekend.
