Why Switzerland?
I have always been in love with the mountains, so when it came time to plan our wedding I knew Switzerland was it. There’s something so peaceful and magical about the Alps. We also wanted to keep it intimate, with only the people who mean the most to us, and Switzerland made that possible. It also meant a lot to us to legally marry in Switzerland. It feels like we’ve taken a piece of the country with us forever, and that will always be a special part of our story.
Tell us your experiences with the vendors
I don’t even know where to begin, because every single vendor we worked with in Switzerland was amazing. Emma, through the Swiss Concierge wedding planner, saved us. She stepped in when I was overwhelmed and completely turned things around. Not only was she our planner, but also our videographer. She knew all the secret spots for filming and was well loved by every local we passed as we filmed. It’s beautiful to see that Emma is also well loved by her community and made us feel very connected to Wengen. She guided us through our pre-wedding shoot, and captured the day in a way that we will treasure forever. William and I were both nervous because it was our first time being professionally filmed, but Emma made it feel so natural. She helped us let go and simply enjoy the moment. She captured our love in a way that translated so beautifully into our film, and now we have those memories preserved forever. She didn’t just plan our wedding, she made it magical, and then preserved that magic for us on film. I trusted her completely, and she made it all happen. Fabien, our photographer, was such a gentle soul. He made everyone feel comfortable, and his photos captured the heart of the day so beautifully. The staff at Hotel Falken were the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They treated us like family from start to finish, and I’ll always remember their kindness. Sinem, my makeup artist, was a dream. She made me look and feel my absolute best and stayed close the whole time to make sure I was okay. Talking with her while I tried to calm my nerves before the ceremony meant so much. She was so talented and so kind, and I’ll never forget her. And then there was Julia from Interlaken Tourism. She came to translate our civil ceremony preparation meeting the day before the wedding at the very last minute, and she did it with such joy and generosity. She didn’t even ask for anything in return. That’s just how the Swiss are helpful, kind, and so full of heart. Without her, the civil wedding in Interlaken wouldn’t have been possible.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding?
The most unforgettable part of the day was the surprise that Emma had planned. She told us to trust her, and we did. When the Wengen Trychler Club arrived at the Hotel, their bells echoing through the mountains, it felt like pure magic. Our hearts were bursting. It felt like something from a dream, and it's a memory we'll cherish forever. For me, that moment also held a deeper meaning. Our parents had worked so hard all their lives. I know they definitely never imagined they’d see their daughter married in Switzerland. Our wedding wasn’t just about us; it was about all the struggles and sacrifices that had brought us to this point. Emma recognised that, and she gave us something that honoured it in the most beautiful way.
The morning after the wedding was just as special in its own quiet way. William and I had breakfast at Hotel Falken, and the staff came by to greet us and congratulate us. It felt like being part of a family. That warmth is something I don’t think we could have found anywhere else. Our pre-wedding shoot in Wengen was another favorite memory. William wore his brand new Lucchese cowboy boots, which still makes me laugh because when I was younger I swore I’d never marry a man who wore cowboy boots. And yet, there I was, marrying him in them. Those boots are now a treasure. None of this would have been possible without Emma. Switzerland gave us beauty, but Emma and the Swiss people gave us magic

Wedding photography, for me, isn’t about trends or poses.
It’s about life. About love. About remembering what truly counts. Because weddings, like life, go by so fast.
And since your wedding day is probably one of the most important day of your life gathering all the people you love, it is crucial to have those moments frozen in time.
Beyond creating timeless and beautiful pictures, my goal is to give you a stress-free, enjoyable and fun experience.
