I chose Chateau Gütsch in Lake Lucerne as my wedding venue for several reasons. Firstly, the breathtaking view it offers of both the serene lake and the charming cityscape created a picturesque backdrop for our celebration, adding a touch of natural beauty and urban elegance to our special day.

​Moreover, the interior design of Chateau Gütsch was simply stunning. The preservation of its historic charm combined with modern elements, such as the exquisite wallpapers, created a unique and enchanting atmosphere that perfectly suited the romantic ambiance we envisioned for our wedding.

One of the highlights of our experience at Chateau Gütsch was the exceptional food. The culinary team went above and beyond to curate a menu that delighted our guests’ taste buds and elevated the overall dining experience, making our wedding celebration truly unforgettable.

Our best suppliers undoubtedly were the Gaea Design team. They were our guiding force throughout the entire wedding planning process, especially considering we were organizing our wedding from a far. They handled everything seamlessly, from day-of coordination to managing vendors and crafting the stunning designs, including their breathtaking floral arrangements.

Tamara, from the Gaea Design team, played a pivotal role, acting as my fairy godmother throughout the planning journey. She ensured that every detail, no matter how small or complex, was not only met but exceeded our expectations. Her expertise and dedication were evident in every aspect of our wedding, particularly in handling coordination challenges with the hotel. Without Tamara and her team, our special day wouldn’t have been as flawless and magical.

I also want to give a special shout-out to our photographer, Jenna Guyot, who is not only a dear friend but also a talented professional. Jenna recently started her photography business before our wedding, and her skills were immediately apparent. Despite being a guest at the wedding, I asked her (with no pressure) to capture our special moments, and the results were beyond amazing. Additionally, we had a second photographer to ensure every part of our wedding, including the dinner and party, was beautifully documented, allowing Jenna to enjoy the celebration alongside us.

Ever since returning to office after the Pandemic, my husband has written me a little note. Before I walked down the aisle, my photographer and dear friend Jenna, presented me with a envelope from Tyler. Inside was my very own note for our wedding day, along with hundreds of notes he had written over the past few years. It was such an incredibly thoughtful thing to do - which just perfectly describes Tyler because he is always the most thoughtful whether its to me or our family.

The second piece that I hold very special is the cake topper. This is a vintage topper 56 years old, the same topper my grandparents who have always been couple goals used at their own wedding. People in my family have requested to use this before, and they would not allow it, so when my grandmother gifted me this and told me she wanted me to use it for my own wedding it meant so much. I am very close with my grandmother- she is a lot like me. Brutally honest, hilarious without trying to be.
