Intro
History, mystics and traditions: The Swiss witch museum in Auenstein presents an exhibit of the world of witches featuring carefully selected objects.
In six rooms, on around 200 square meters, the detailed private museum offers an overview of the witch trials in Switzerland and Europe with folk religion, remedies to protect and to heal, witch animals, medicinal and magical herbs, supernatural characters and ghosts, and finally a room with films and various listening stations.
The Swiss witch museum also features a labelled herb garden, a large biotope, a museum shop and a small tearoom with coffee and cake on Sundays.
