Seat Reservation Jungfrau Railway

The Jungfrau region is always busy with tourists from all over the world. The Jungfrau Railway, which connects to the popular Jungfraujoch, is too crowded especially summer season. Therefore, good new for tourists;  now we can make seat reservations online for trips to Jungfraujoch. Please note that seat reservations will be mandatory during the high season (May 1st to August 31st, 2025).

This new advance seat reservation system makes your trip to the Jungfraujoch more comfortable. In the summer in particular, many customers had to wait from earlier than train timetable , but by choosing and reserving your preferred time slot in advance, you can avoid having to wait in line for long time or not being able to get on the train you want, and you can release such a stress of traveling to a popular tourist destination. You can enjoy your trip to the Jungfraujoch according to your own plan and schedule with peace of mind.

In addition to a valid train ticket, a seat reservation on the Jungfrau Railway costs CHF 10 per person. You can choose your time slot and connection online and purchase a seat reservation (seat reservation). A seat reservation for the return trip to the Jungfraujoch includes a seat reservation on the Jungfrau Railway (Kleine Scheidegg/Eiger Glacier-Jungfraujoch) and a priority boarding reservation for the cable car from the Grindelwald Terminal to the Station Eigergletscher.

Online seat reservations are possible all year round, but please note that during the busy summer season (May 1st to August 31st, 2025), seat reservations for the Jungfrau Railway are mandatory.
