Overview
Valais Premium Hiking Trails The Goms High Trail is the only hiking trail in Switzerland to have been awarded the title of "Premium Hiking Trail" by the German Hiking Institute. The hiking route rightly bears this title, as a top-class high trail awaits you in the Goms. Panoramic paths lead you past sun-baked Valais villages and dreamy Alps to Oberwald. This rather leisurely hiking pleasure is followed by an adventure of rock and ice. The Furka High Trail takes you past the Rhone Glacier into the mountain worlds of the Gotthard massif. You cross the Urseren Valley and reach the mountain village of Andermatt after an eventful few days.
