Overview
Rhine Valley, Lake Constance, Rhine Falls The Rhine Route spans the east of Switzerland in a wide arc. You start your journey in the Rhaetian capital of Chur. With the grape stove wind through the Bündner Herrschaft and on the Rhine dam in a hurry to the wide Lake Constance, where orchards, castles and cheerful tourist chatter adorn the shores of the green and silver shimmering "Swabian Sea". Continue via Stein am Rhein to Schaffhausen with the impressive Rhine Falls. The journey ends in Bad Zurzach. Overnight stays are in youth hostels along the Rhine and Lake Constance.
