The Jungfrau-Joch, the area around the Aletsch Glacier and the infamous north face of the Eiger attract visitors from all over the world to the Bernese Oberland every year. Grindelwald serves as the ideal starting point for visiting the most spectacular destinations in the region. Winter sports and hiking enthusiasts and mountaineers from all over the world converge in the youth hostel. After an exciting day of adventure, the outdoor hot tub is also a very popular place to hang out and chill.

Our dedicated youth hostel team extends exceptional hospitality in the traditional Swiss Youth Hostel building situated just beyond Grindelwald village centre, ensuring a memorable experience for your wedding party. The backdrop is legendary with its captivating view of the famous north face of the Eiger. The hostel offers 135 beds in various room categories located in both new and traditional old buildings, plus the romantic woodland hut, known as the “Waldhüsli”. An exciting selection of accommodation options awaits. The hostel can also be rented exclusively on request.
