Already more than 300 years ago, the "Gasthof Hirschen" has been mentioned for the first time. When you attend to the old wood door and climb the stairs to the reception, the centuries-old wall - with original wood beams - turns you back into long forgotten times. You can feel the history in many corners of our house. Grown together from originally three different houses, 27 individual rooms with the special charm of a historical old-town house await you today. The Hotel Hirschen, once a hospice of a monastery, is one of the oldest Hotels in Zurich. Reception opening hours: Monday-Friday: 7:00 am - 10:00 pm Wochenende: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm Please contact the hotel in advance if you plan to arrive after 10:00 pm. A baby crib is bookable up to 2 years, this at a one-time price of CHF 30.00. An extra bed is bookable for children up to 12 years at CHF 50.00 / night.
Our Hotel is centrally located in the heart of the pedestrian area of the old town, in the Niederdorf. Just a short walk of 10 minutes or 4 minutes by Tram No 4 from Zurich Main station. The Niederdorf with plenty of restaurants, bars and boutiques is int the heart of the old town, almost all main attractions can be easily reached by foot.
