Family-owned since 1947, newly built in 1967, the 3*** Hotel Hohe Promenade with 54 beds is already personally managed by the owner family in the 3rd generation. All areas have been completely renovated in recent years and meet the high demands of our many long-standing regular guests and also convince those who visit our hotel for the first time. As the first hotel in Arosa, we have had a solar system for many years to support the hot water heating....this is just one small point from our sustainability programme.
The slightly elevated, very central and yet quiet location directly on the edge of the forest is one of the best in all of Arosa, whether in winter or in summer. The village centre, cable car, free village bus, ski slopes and the starting points for many beautiful walking and hiking trails are only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
Our guests can obtain ski passes at favourable conditions directly at the hotel reception and enjoy the first descent into the valley without long queues at the ticket office.
All our modern and cosy non-smoking rooms are equipped with shower/WC, cable TV, radio, safe and hairdryer. All guests have free use of a large sunbathing terrace on the top floor as well as the soothing sauna. Thanks to our ski room facility, your ski boots are waiting dried and warmed up every morning to give you the greatest possible pleasure on the slopes.
The popular half board consists of a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course dinner with salad buffet (choice of main dish with or without meat). In winter we additionally spoil you weekly with a gala dinner, the Swiss cheese buffet, a dessert buffet as well as a fondue chinoise à discretion.
In summer, these speciality evenings are replaced by a barbecue and/or tapas buffet.

General Booking-Conditions	All our prices include all taxes and VAT. Depending on the arrangement booked, only the rich breakfast buffet with local products, or booking with half board, dinner is also included in the price. In summer, the Arosa All-Inclusive Card is free of charge for our hotel guests and includes free use of the mountain railways, local bus and much more during the entire stay (incl. day of arrival and departure). We have a limited number of parking spaces directly at the hotel (CHF 10/winter, CHF 5/summer; per night). These spaces cannot be reserved. However, there are sufficient public parking spaces available in Arosa for a fee. For stays of 5 nights or more in winter, it is possible to make a binding reservation for a parking space in the public underground car park at the time of booking (CHF 14 per night).

Getting there

By car, leave the A13 motorway in Chur following the signs and take the varied uphill drive towards Arosa. Once in Arosa, after 360 bends and 30 kilometres, turn right just before the ice rink and ride along the lake. After approx. 350 metres, keep right and continue along Tomelistrasse until you reach the Waldhotel; continue slightly downhill on the left for 100 metres and then straight on for another 150 metres until you reach the Hotel Hohe Promenade.

Take the train to Chur and change there to the Rhaetian Railway. Once you arrive in Arosa, we recommend that you take a taxi (081 377 11 33). If you only have a small amount of luggage with you, you can also take the free local bus from the kiosk and get off at the Rathaus stop. From there it is a 5 - 8 minute walk up to the hotel via a small footpath between the houses.

By bike, by plane or on foot.....will be happy to advise you individually ;-)

The published prices for half board are only valid for advance bookings. If you book breakfast in your room and decide on the evening meal on site, the daily price applies.

For payment we accept cash (CHF and Euro), Maestro, EDC-Maestro, Visa and Mastercard. Foreign cards are charged in the original currency.

The rooms are ready for occupancy from 15.00 hrs. On the day of departure we kindly ask you to vacate your holiday home by 11.00 a.m., thank you. If you arrive earlier or depart later, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us.
