Kemmeriboden-Bad has been welcoming guests for more than 150 years and hence has a long tradition of hospitality. The hotel was in family hands right from the start. Originally a spa hotel, these days it offers rest and relaxation plus fine dining in a lovingly restored building with every conceivable comfort and a modern infrastructure. In the mean time, it has more than 30 rooms to offer: from doublerooms, to mini-suite, family rooms and multi-bed rooms. Famed throughout the region for its cuisine, the hotel serves creations ranging from the classic to the contemporary made only with fresh produce, most of it sourced locally.

For six generations we have been able to welcome and inspire guests and look forward to seeing you!As a host family in the 6th generation, we have been welcoming guests to the Kemmeriboden Bad for almost 200 years. Our goal is to enable future generations of Kemmeriboden to be guests, suppliers and hosts in our "home" by advocating for a sustainable - grandchild-friendly - approach to people, the environment and our resources.The entire building complex is now under heritage protection. The spa was discontinued a few decades ago. Instead of tub baths, our guests now have a hotpot at their disposal. In addition, our guests have countless opportunities to arrange their holidays with us according to their wishes. With us you get 4-star comfort at a 3-star price.The restaurant opening hours are as follows:Monday to Wednesday: closedThursday to Sunday: 11:45 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.For hotel guests, dinner is possible from Monday to Sunday. From Monday to Wednesday, a small snack menu is offered during the day.Check-in: 3.00 pm - 8.00 pmCheck-out: 08.00 a.m. - 11.00 a.m.

Bike Hotels and Lodgings
Historic and typical 3-star country hotel with 30 double, family and theme rooms, run already by the sixth family generation. Quality sleep with rooms newly furnished only recently. The heart of Emmental is an Eldorado for bikers and lies along the national panorama route number 2. Good home-style catering with regional specialities such as Bern-style platter and meringues. “Snack-strong” biking bags filled with apples and mineral water. Bike maps and bike room with small repairs set.

The Hotel Kemmeriboden-Bad is located near the wildly romantic headwaters of the river Emme. It is therefore an ideal starting point for unforgettable hikes into the Emmental, the UNESCO protected Entlebuch biosphere and Thunersee-Hohgant nature park. Hotel guests no longer seek relief from sulphurous baths, but they still appreciate hot-tubs and the meringues for which Kemmeriboden is famous.
Meeting
A country inn near the source of the River Emme in a quiet and secluded location. In winter, the separate igloo hotel with an ice restaurant is ideal for extraordinary meetings. 8 halls and a range of outdoor activities, e.g. water buffalo trips, stone pillar building by the Emme, yodelling and alphorn workshops, Alpine dairy visits on e-bikes. Cuisine prepared using fresh regional produce.
