The open-air pool Biberstein, the first public bio-swimming pool in Switzerland, was opened in 2000.
Below the striking castle of Biberstein, about 5 kilometers east of Aarau, is the first public bio-swimming pool in Switzerland. The water here is cleaned in a natural cycle and entirely without chemicals.
The pool is located on the national bicycle tours 5 and 8 and is a perfect place for a family outing. The bio-swimming pool is open from May to September.
