L'Atelier depuis 19380
"L'Atelier depuis 19380" was created at the same time as the Mamco came into being. When the museum opened in 1994, its director Christian Bernard offered Sarkis one of the studios placed at the disposal of artists. Sarkis accepted on condition that the space would continue to be alive when he was absent. "L'Atelier depuis 19380" is a personal space full of memories which evolves regularly, constantly recalling the complex relations between objects, places and time.
