Ces trois célèbres automates – l’Ecrivain, la Musicienne et le Dessinateur – ont été réalisés à La Chaux-de-Fonds entre 1768 et 1774 par des horlogers d’exception: Pierre Jaquet-Droz, son fils

Ces trois célèbres automates – l’Ecrivain, la Musicienne et le Dessinateur – ont été réalisés à La Chaux-de-Fonds entre 1768 et 1774 par des horlogers d’exception: Pierre Jaquet-Droz, son fils Henri-Louis et Jean-Frédéric Leschot. Après un long périple en Europe, ils sont remis en don à la Ville de Neuchâtel le 1er mai 1909. Ils constituent depuis le fleuron des collections du Musée.

Démonstrations à 14h, 15h et 16h (durée 45 minutes)
