Bergfrühlingsfest
Overview
Intro
Blooming mountain meadows, snow-covered mountain peaks and traditional Schwyzerörgeli sounds form the backdrop to the mountain spring festival on the Männlichen.
The popular event takes place every June and delights locals as well as guests from Switzerland and abroad. The focus is on musical and folkloristic performances by various formations that bring Swiss traditions and customs to life.
The mountain spring festival offers a varied program in the midst of the impressive mountain landscape of the Männlichen.
The following groups provide musical and traditional highlights:
- Alphorn duo Burkhalter & Schwerzmann with flag-wavers
- Wengen traditional costume group
- Wengen yodelling group
- Oberämmital folk band
- Schwyzerörgeli quartet Gemsberg
